To all our clients, partners, QA and test data management professionals, BizDataX supporters and all people we are working with, we wish you all the best for the forthcoming holidays!
It’s been a great year for the BizDataX team. We released a major BizDataX version with a brand new BizDataX Portal to accommodate better TDM business stakeholders needs. There were also significant improvements in both BizDataX Runtime and BizDataX Designer. We listened carefully to our customers who were looking for an end-to-end test data management solution covering many different data masking, data subsetting and synthetic data generation scenarios. We partnered with great QA and test management companies and worked on really interesting projects. And we had a great (albeit hectic) time!
We will continue to do so in the next year. Expect next 3.1 version in Q1 2016. This version will be a large step forward in our vision to offer a TDM solution with unparalleled flexibility and price-performance ratio on the market.
Why is flexibility so important for the clients? Test data management projects, data masking projects, data subsetting projects are unique for each client. Many data generation algorithms (e.g. credit card generator) can be shared across projects, but even simple workflows that implement specific business logic can not. As TDM projects gain momentum because companies see benefits in cost savings and efficiency within the QA and test process, there are more ideas and requirements coming from the business stakeholders. They often think, which is good, out of the test process box and perceive TDM solutions as a way to expose production data to other non-production scenarios. Think about sales presentation where sales people want to have real data in order to gain credibility when presenting to clients. They would like to have production data which is usually not an option because of privacy, regulatory and technical issues. However, if there would be a process and a tool in place that, according to the specific business needs and the authorization level could create a subset of production data that is realistic enough for such kind of presentation, salesmen would be more efficient in what they do (close the deals!). This is just one of the many scenarios that we experience when talking to our customers.
BizDataX Team expects another super interesting and vibrant year. We thank our clients, partners and supporters for great cooperation and look forward to expand our activities in 2016.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
